I've been poling now for 4 years and have experienced all the problems mentioned above, I would suggest that when you take on a new property, charge an extra £5-£10 for the first clean and really take your time with it.
You may use a lot of water, but you will reap the rewards later.

This is what I do rah, except I normally forget the bit about charging extra
. Somebody told me that it normally takes 3 cleans to get windows up to standard with wfp, to me this is unacceptable, so I really go to town on them for the first clean and probably do the equivelent of 3 cleans in one go for the first clean. I get very good results doing this, but it is time consuming, so an extra charge should be made for the first clean.

Hi All
When i need to clean the top frames, which is not on every clean. All i do is go round wash the frames down first, the whole house. Then go back to the first one i started on, all the water has run off the frame by then, Then i wash the glass with a good rince, no run offs and the windows are clean frames and glass. No time wasted coming back. Michael D
