hi all
     so how do you work? .... i do the upstairs wfp and the downstairs with me aplicater and blade, and i still get me ladder off for windows on flat roofs etc......    feedback would be good

I do exactly the same. Unless the house has leaded or georgian windows... Then I do the whole lot WFP.

The reason I trad normal bottom windows is to save water... Plus I like having a break from the pole from time to time.

I WFP everything, and just squeegee windows that I can't reach with the pole. I have one or two bungalows that I still trad, not worth taking the reel off the van!

most wfp up and down but stuff like bunglows i tend to do trad methods. but using a 3ft pole on ground floors as bloody quick

100% wfp.

I had a couple of jobs & past them onto another trad wc as they were more suitable for trad. Custy happy & hes got more work.

I tend to squeegee off a lot of downstairs if they're in, just so it looks better.
If it's been washed with wfp it's 5 seconds per window to squeegee anyway, as you don't need to detail with clean water.

If no-ones in 100% wfp, the quicker the better!

I used to have an Escort 55 to carry my trad gear.  It got a bit embarrassing when the cyclists overtook me going uphill.

I've now got a Renault trafic (the 2.9 tonne version) and have an 800 litre tank in it.  I don't fill it beyond 700 though as there's a risk of overloading.  If I travelled light with other equipment I could probably fill it though.

You must have a lot of other kit Shiner.

The SL29 version (as I've got too), has a payload of 1250kg.
The normal SL27 is 1050kg.

The van weighs 1650kg + 1250 payload = 2900.

wfp tops & bottoms, if it's good enough for tops, it's good enough for bottoms.
I still do lots of trad work though, bungalows & jobs where wfp is not suitable or trad is quicker/less hassle.

 takes nearly 1,500 ltrs of water just bought 1 last week rear wheel drive 2.5ltr bright orange my customers never get me mixed up with anybody else lol.

gona have 3 systems workin out of it 2 at rear 1 at side door on 100 mtr reels all mounted to the tank & a trolley for the awkward jobs.

 trad some aswell 3 lads will use the ststem out of 1 van prob use about 1200ltrs a ady between us.
