Some only want the gutters cleared & others want both, either way
they are good earners.

I clean out all the rubbish and take it home in a plastic bag and bin it, unless the custy wants it on his compost heap.
I only ever do a full clean, facias and soffits included 'O' and the down pipes, just finishes the Job off.

I've tried wfp for gutters,... and its hard work!!!
I've got a 24' lance for my powerwasher now,... 4000PSI of cleaning power!
I've had loads of this work this year too,... even with my prices. I normally charge €130 for a 3 bed semi to empty the gutters, powerwash them down along with the fascia and soffit, and then WFP the windows.

It's a sea change Jeff. People have plastic windows doors and gutters, and they like them clean.
You used to have to paint your house every two years, now you don't. Some are asking for this done three times a year.
I do a special pre sale kerb side appeal clean.
Things change. My gran used to be very pround of her highly polished red tiled front step, as were all her neighbours. Who bothers with that now?

I did one last month, wuz a detached 3 bed place. He wanted the gutters clearing out and the plastics cleaning. Cleared out the gutters from ladders and jetted through the back ones with his garden hose (they were full of mud.... it STANK!
) then did the plastics with the WFP, then the windows.
Took about 3 hours, £70 for the gutters, £14 for the windows. Got tipped £6 so wuz £90 all in. Gutters are my most hated job... so I'll double the price next time!

The thing I like about gutter cleaning, is the look on there faces and the good comments I get, when they see the finished Job and my own smile matches theres, when they hand over the money
