Anyone got a decent package that can:

1. Produce invoices using different drop down services etc
2. Do mail shots (with different variables i.e. by different dates, areas, spend value etc etc)
3. Produce reports on marketing i.e. source of customers, what is spent on each service etc
4. List all invoice details for any customer
5. Have a link to Microsoft Word to design own letters to use on mail shots etc

I have sort of looked at the one for sale on E Bay but it's an Excel based product, I'm looking for a more professional user friendly 'package' so to speak - specifically for CC's. I have one at the moment but it's not very reliable    and Ive seen loads but most are just too vague for this industry!

If anyones got something like this I would appreciate an e mail (I'm willing to pay for it!).

Hope you dont mind me mentioning it here, thanks for offering the prog, Im not so sure its what Im looking for exactly. It seems more of an accounts package that can do invoices? Do you implement it for this? or can it do so much more?

If anyone out there - perhaps maybe who run a franchise, Im looking to use any software like some sort of Management Information System or something. If anyone has this I have great software to trade that you will definately want! (office prog's, Logo creating progs, lifetime Anti Virus, GPS etc etc etc).

Its an online programme that relies on an internet connection, also I woudnt be happy filling in invoices etc with the info not stored on my hard drive! It also bombards you with adverts.

Oh well.... maybe someone out there may still have something?

you could allways try George  thats we use for our window cleaning and im sure it can be adapted for carpet cleaning............ ive used it now for 5 years and my accountant says its one of the best pices of software hes seen.....does invoices,customers names address etc,forcasts all for £50.00 plus £12 YEARLLY BACKUP

George is decent software but unfortunatly it is very bespoke and is only of use to window cleaning.

We use Quickbooks which is an accounting software package, it creates invoices etc but does not do everything that you require.

I would have thought that the solution would be based around the Microsoft, Excel, Word, Access and Money software packages as I can't see any singular system being able to do everything you require.

However if you do find one, let me know.

Cheers for that. There are systems about, Ive got one that does everything mentioned - except print invoices! and the letter master isnt that good because it doesnt utilise microsft word. Apart from that its good.

I dont fancy using microsoft products, not that Ive delved deeply into them to find out, but just want everything in 'one place' if you know what I mean. I looked at George but it seems too limited in what you can do?

Sounds like you need two bits of software that share information.

A simple accounting package with customisable invoices and a customer relationship manager (CRM) package

I use ACT 6 CRM and is very good and they were bought by Sage some time back. Now I bet if you have a look at Sage accounts lite version, that it will be able to talk to newer versions of Act and use it's database.

Some customising is required but is better than having a very rigid way of doing stuff.

Hi i don't know what exactly you are looking for but a friend of mine designed me an access database for my invoicing, i just fill in the customer details, which are then stored so you dont have to keep entering the same customer over and over, then an area for the invoice, it then prints the designed invoice out.  Its fully custom and has many other features.  I can also export all the invoices to excel which makes the accountants life easier and i can sort through all unpaid customers, you could also have a  search for the source i.e where the advert came from if you so wished.
As i said this was designed uniquely for my needs, so there may be things you don't want and other things you do, if you are interested then please send me an email and i will pass it on for you, and he'll give you a time scale and price, which would probably be cheaper than a lot of these programs that only do one thing.
