Cleaned a hall/stairs /landing the other day , next day the cat (female) peed in a corner . I returned flushed it then liberally sponged on some Microclean by Bioproductions, which is a microbiological product, designed to digest the organic spill. The following day the customer phoned  to say its still wet but also she can still smell the pee and she doesnt like the smell of micro clean. Told her to allow it to dry till monday and Ill return to see what else to do.
Any ideas?

I read somewhere that cat urine never dries.If it still smells I'd have a look at the backing.

If possible you need to treat the back of the carpet, underlay and floor if that has been affected. Urine smell isn't nescessarily caused by bacteria its a combination of this, enzymes, uric salts and other body fluids.
The Microclean will have done its work when you return so I would flush through again including the back etc then dose it with a decent deodouriser, preferably one she likes the smell of.

agree with john, you must have the carpet up, i usually use crafex's pet stain remover & then give it a squirt of ni712 odour treatment "orange" or you could inject it, cleansmart do it. freshi

John will Nemesis odour whats it I got off you be good to treat backing with once Ive flushed the microclean out?
Some of the area where the cat had peed had already crystalised before I began treatment, customer said  she gets cystitis and sometimes passes a little blood ( the cat not the customer).I suppose all these things can have an effect on the success of treatment.

I think somtimes with stains there is a posibility of over flushing hence longer drying times.

We would normally neutrolise the urine with either textile rinse or use a pet stain neutreliser and then apply Chemspec Urine Contamination treatment, this normally does the trick !
