Bl**dy hell Jeff.  I paid almost £100 for my charger. Yup  Ive been done alright  lol  :o

I won't go into Battery mode, but Go to Halfords, spend £30  on a fully automatic charger, it charges you battery to full capacity, then switches to trickle charge and maintaines the full charge of your battery, you can leave it connected even while you go on 2 weeks holiday, without fear of over charging your battery.

Squeaky, your running your battery to flat all the time, keep it topped up more often.

I promise you and everyone on this forum, this charger will cover everything we need from a charger, to keep your batteries in tip top condition.

But a message to some of you guy's, it won't charge your battery, if you don't connect it to the charger, a battery has to be looked after, if you want to keep using it.

I have one battery that is 8 years old and still going strong, but if your batteries last you 3 years, then you had a good battery and you looked after it.

Jeff,

Am I right in assuming it is best to store a battery fully charged and keep topping it up.

Yes Dave   ;)
But bear in mind, if you store a battery after fully re-charging it, it will begin to loose its charge, Take a meter reading after charging your battery, then again in an hours time, and see the difference.

This is why I bought the Automatic charger I have, it keeps it topped up to full capacity, so if on a friday night I put it on charge, I leave it and forget it until Monday morning, and I know I have a fully charged battery and I also know its being maintained.

I can only see 2 pictures and thats the bottom 2, but it says the same words on mine, so its the right battery charger.

They certainly are, I charge my battery up every night, and every so often like today and while I'm out, I charge a sealed type battery that I use for my trailer alarm.
