what size is the tank in the van?
And do the ratchet straps hold if you brake hard??
I am guessing you built yourself, what did it cost you?
Does look very good if you did that yourself and seems to look alot eaier than other pics i have seen online

Only a 250l tank...haven't broken hard yet ....Inside garage + Van around £1900 inc trad kit,£200 for ladders,£2200 for van (VW Caddy) £4000 for £1500 of domestic work.

My friend and I set it up in a day,I'm no genius,nor is my pal,and we set it up with minimal probs.I would def recommend fitting it yourself, and save yourself a fortune.

It can be left on tank, but I used enough hose so I can put it outside back doors and point it in the direction of the job..

the battery is unbelievably unsecure,it would become a lethal missile in a shunt and its aimed at the back of the drivers head nearly,take expert advice but get one of those ratchet straps around it at least until you have it securely fastened,metal strap over the top and sides  and the straps secure to the van is something like what you will need.do it for your own safety.

That is a good point there Lee, that bungee will not hold at 10 miles an hour let alone more m8.

why dont you send it through 2 di tanks, that way you will save resin, because when the first one in line goes just swap it around with the other, you can save alot of money that way, Luke

i have them in my van and they dont seem strong enuf to hold a tank.

THEY'RE NOT

Any sort of shock and they'll break, they're only designed to be luggage restraints.  You should put eyebolts down through the chassis and if the hook of the strap won't go through the eye, use some BIG  "D" shackles.

Also the straps should go from the rear eyebolts over the TOP  of the tank, then to more eyebolts in front of the tank, also bolted down through the chassis.  Those straps look to be about 5 ton, but they're useless if they're not anchored properly.

The way you've got the straps going under the tank, there's nothing stopping the back of the tank coming up and over  and smashing into you

For your own and your passenger's safety you should sort it before you drive anywhere.
