how many of you work bank holidays . i was going to work today but changed my mind . i remember the last bank holiday i worked it was like a ghost town . its a bit like working sundays . anyway same as i say i didnt work i had a few cold lagers instead . think thats what bank holidays are about .

I worked today 8-2,housing association so it can be done any day at weekends,bankholidays etc.

I worked all day i guess it depends on how busy i am.

I used to look forward to them when i was employed but now  its just another working day

I did 2 hours today because of a tax bill.
I would have paid it last week, but the bank's wrecked my account.

First time in my life I've worked on a BH, and I begrudged every minute.

Same goes for weekends, never worked one of them either.
Actually I was once asked to work a saturday in a job once, so I resigned.

I sometimes work Bank Holidays but as I did a bit on Saturday and Sunday, I decided to take time off today.  I went with some friends to watch some banger racing.  I was greatly surprised to see that there were no Renault Trafics competing

i was going to work, thought it might help get some more work with more people being off work and that. but then when the sun was out i decided not too, as people would want lie-ins, BBQ's, or will be out - so we'd have only been in the way and annoying to people. so i took the day off. and am likely to most bank holidays once my bike is back on the road...especially my new one. weekends are motorbike time, though im happy to work the occasional saturday or sunday if im behind on work

the plan was a trip to the beach, but we did that yesterday

so today had a few hours in our local massive park and then popped to argos to get my daughters new cool bag / lunch box for school, then went for pizza hut  a rather enjoyable day,

shame its back to work tomorrow with this weather
