The First place I cried????
« on: August 24, 2007, 04:53:50 pm »
I though that would get your attention Lol

No seriously, this shot shows you the first place I scratched my pole and I could have cried.
I can't get underneath as its a glass roof, and it took some scrubbing the first time, as the windows you see, have never been cleaned before, no trad cleaner could get to them without mega hassle, so they all left it.

Where the pole is in the picture, there is a metal joist hanger to hold the timber up, and these things have sharp edges on them, so it was this place that gave me the idea, to look for something to save my pole from further damage.

Today, when I had finished this window, I looked at my pole saver and there were deep scratches in it, from these metal joist hangers, all those scratches would have been on my pole, so now I can wash away and use the corner as a cantilever without any damage to my pole.

Sorry about the quality of the pic, it was from my mobile.

You really love your pole, don't you?

You'll still need a new one in the end, scratches or no scratches...
