Had two jobs last week and nohing booked for this week, i am normally away in august so got nothing to compare with, is it usually like this or am i just going through one of these quiet periods?
How is everyone else doing, and where is most of the work coming from?

Ive got 6 booked this week all from leaflets, next week filling up too. I havent had any calls from yell etc just from leaflets with 20% off offer so it probably would be quiet here if not for leaflets.

hi all, aug has tailed right off for me to, cleaned a few carpets last week, got a suite wednes. the previous months & the winter i've been right busy, sept it will surely pick up!!!? freshy

I know its unbelievable but why can we go a week without a call then the week after the phone gos wild, is it the weather? 
I just seem to be busy or quiet and nothing inbetween.

August always busiest month of the year for me in sunny Camberley, Doing 5 hrs cleaning a day at the moment which is more than enough. May and June were rubbish for me though.

Market is always up and down but August always busy.

We did 22 jobs last week, only 3 booked in so far this week. 5 bookings in today, but all of them can only do next week. This game is so hit and miss, thats why we do other things.

Google working well at the moment for us. BT, Yell etc a waste of time. Have had a good response from leaflets this time of year, but have been busy so have not kept up with them.

Been very quite for me also blxxdy annoying just been out leafleting was leafleting last week will be all this week aswell at this rate. Not easy to get this kind off work is it?

this week ive had 2 jobs cancelled 1 person ill £200 the other house move fell through £165  the rest of my week = 4 jobs £440   but i can still look on the bright side them 4 jobs will take 8hours tops when i worked in a factory it took me 60 hours to get that

Think its quiet cos kids are off and under mums feet, had a few teachers, maybe try target them?

I've had 9 calls in the last week and 6 of those were sales calls
