007 or what

Hit and run!!!!

got up this morning expecting rain nope all rained out over night :)
Start driving to work some muppet was driving SO close to me i couldnt even see
his car behind me  :o, so i slowed down speeded up just trying to shake him off
he just got closer and closer, so i stopped got out and told him to back off. With this he drove straight for me slammed into the van and just kept on going :'( :o
if i handnt jumped out of the way he would have hit me for sure i did try to catch him but i'm in a transit  :(

I've been in the police station for the past 2 hours :o producing My documents!!!
sorry to rant to you lot but i'm so angry.

I would be angry to... dont blame you... some people these days. they have a bad attitude... put them in a car and you have a death trap!

When I get onwe of tailgating idiots behind me, I don't try to shake them off.  I just drive more slowly.  Although this may seem provocative, I don't do it for that reason.  Firstly, it makes it easier for them to overtake me.  Secondly, it means that if I have to brake sharply there is less chance of being rear ended - or even if my van is rear ended, the damage is less due to lower speed.
No excuse for what the guy did after you stopped though.  The tailgating is foolishness.  Driving at you is possibly attempted murder.  Did you get the car reg?  I doubt that I would as I would be too focussed getting out of the way.

Without being the bearer of even worse news but did you get his reg? Otherwise you may find you lose your NCB as well?

just had a phone call from the police he handed himself into poole police center
told them he was scared of me so did a runner. still doesnt explain why he drove so close or why he hit the van tho >:( at least i will have his details :)

yep, make sure you turn up at court if it goes.
As long as you get his address, you will know where to let off steam when you have your next stressful day.
Have had a couple of occasions where i've been flagged down only for them to have second thoughts. ::)

make sure they throw the book at him.  Leaving the scene of an accident, rekless driving etc etc.   T**t shouldnt be on the road.

Thanks guys i feel better knowing other people feel the same as me.
Went kick boxing last night took some anger out on the pads feel better today  ;D
Am phoning the police to chase thing along today, you know what they can be like. :(

Can you bloody believe it the t****r that did this has made a complaint about me for being aggresive and the police want to talk to me!!! :(
Not a mention about him driving off or the damage to the van what is this world coming to? >:( >:( >:(
I thought that if you drive into the back of someone's car you were automaticly
to blame no if's no buts your fault, but not if you say "they" were aggresive :-X
Got the police coming round on wednesday thats almost a week.
I've had to give my account of things about 10 times already

Similar thing happened to one of my customers, he had someone go up the back of him at traffic lights, he got out shouting obviously fuming at what had happened, the guy told the police that he was being aggressive and felt for his safety, and he got taken to court and fined for abusive behaviour, ie road rage.

Watch he does not try and say you where abusive etc as he may try and turn the case on you..... Hope it gets resolved soon.
