im thinking boiler suits which would be warm in the winter but could be rolled down when we get the odd hot day.

there are a couple of guys who wear boiler suits and they dont look very professional in my eyes,
me and the people who work for me wear black polo shirts with my logo on the front and company name and phone number on the back and blue combat trousers.
For the winter its the same as the polo shirts but we wear 3 season jackets.

My advice would be whatever you choose get your co. logo embroidered on front
Well worth set up cost and looks the biz.

The problem with bright colours is that they will show every grimy mark.
My own uniform is a dark blue polo shirt, baseball cap, sweatshirt and a waterproof fleece, all logo'd up.
Trousers through the winter are a dark grey combat style.
I've 3 polo shirts, 3 sweatshirts, 1 cap and 1 waterproof, all embroidered, total cost around the £80 mark, not expensive at all.
