Mike,

I have a lot of time for Matt and his opinions, but in the end the speedster offered me the best solution for my current needs and budget. Thanks for silencer tip I shall have a bash.

Dave,

My concern is at some stage I will have to take a machine into residential flats and run it in a corridor or something and it's just too loud atm.

Sometimes you have to make do with what you can afford. Better that than going under and never aspiring to the dizzy heights of truckmountdom.

Your machine is a snorting beast, my nextdoor neighbour reckons the noise set up a standing wave in his fish tank.

Hope you get the roof on.

melanie rowe you mentioned your machine caught fire after only six months , i am wondering if the machine was C.E approved as i have been looking to buy one of the guy on ebay but when i asked if the electrics areC.E aproved he is not answering the question and just says it is made to run on 240 volts so if anyone else has bought one it may be worth getting it checked by an electrician so the same does not happen to yours.

If it's any help, my machine has one of those little green tested stickers on it date around april I think.

The guy would be in real sh!t if it wasn't approved.

the green sticker is a pat test sticker and refers only to the plug ,does the machine have any C.E approved stickers anywhere

Just to qualify my last post in case its been misread - I was not infering the problem was with Matt as I've had nothing less than top class service from him, it seems he's not getting the back up and service he needs to keep his customers happy so is sorting any problems out at cost to himself which is not ideal.
