I believe the canvassing market for window cleaners is something that can be done to a very high level of service.

Our approach is very unique, the householder or business feels at ease and very confident of the service we are selling, where it has gone wrong for us in the past is if cancellations happen between the yes and the window cleaner turning up to clean.

Canvassing for you guys out there, getting you more business and a name/brand is so important, but on the flip-side we have to be very careful of who we market for, this can have it's problems and implications for us also, ie. the window cleaner not following through with the promise he has made to his customers, not even paying for the new business gained, not insured or having a criminal record, Window Cleaning Rounds Ltd has to be certain that it's company itself is representing Window Cleaning Businesses that are matching the high quality and reliable service that we provide.

It sounds like you operate in exactly the same way as the girls i use at Roundbuilders. To be honest when i was looking round at canvassing companies you were not about, how long have you been going??

First time 9 years ago, back then there was no one else doing it.

Bu just over last 8 months we have been full time, turned ltd, have other members to the team, buy and sell rounds, build new and existing rounds, sub contract.

We are undergoing new brand development, also secured investment for future business plan to take further our business and brand. More on that later.

To be honest we have had our upsets in this game in the past, but how you cope and overcome is key to becoming successful.

Excellent, good luck to you for the future, you have done extremely well in such a short space of trading. To be honest, and no disrespect to you, but i prefer to use smaller companies for all things at home and work, i find i get looked after better and find it more personal.

You will have to arrange it with them direct. The girl you need to talk to is Gemma, and her email address is roundbuildersuk@hotmail.com I can recommend them 100%, they do a fantastic job for me, been using them for about 6-7 months now. Well organised, top quality work and prices! She got me a job last week which i cleaned today, it took me 6 hours, windows in and out, conservatory in and out £320.00, and i got a £20.00 tip well chuffed. And she will be a regular customer every 4 weeks outside, every 8 weeks in and out! Also if she says the customer wants a fascia and soffit clean, i normally price it and price in a few quid for them as well, not that they have ever asked me to but, we have got a good working relationship now, i look after them and they look after me very well, so i think that helps. So as i say can recommend them to anyone!
