Philip most of it was done by hand. The only bits done wfp were the end apex and the gutter above the Conservatory.

Took us 2.1/2 hours.

Job well done.

How much do you guys quote for these kind of jobs?  I've done them for years by hand but when I went over to wfp I advertised for gutter and facia cleans with my regular customers, most of the jobs I've priced up recently have been turned down.  I wonder if the think it's going to cost next to nothing.

SAJ do you reckon that wfp is not as good as hand cleans on this sort of stuff?

For this job i charged them £60 which was ok, Should have charged £80 really.

Job well done.

Wfp is ok for doing gutters but it really hurts your arms and you get a little bit wet!

I was not in the mood for getting wet today so we got the ladders off plus the windows were only cleaned 2 weeks ago, if i would have used the wfp i would have had to re do all the windows.

Stuart, we do loads of this work and our price for a fascia clean on the property pictured and then the windows to finish off would have been £160.00  ;)

It looks like you did a first class job aswell mate but i reckon you charged well below what you could have done.

Did you use a small brush to get into all the brackets etc?

Thats a spotless job, well done.

They look brand new.

I thought £60.00 was a little underpriced, I'd have gone in at somewhere around the £80.00 or so mark, depends on the day sometimes though doesnt it.

I used a toothbrush to get in the fiddly areas.

I would have charged around £90 for that job.

Why do you get a small brush out to do the fiddly bits. Thay can't see from the ground.

Have you thought about getting the Gutter Lance? I got one about a month ago and think it's great.

Don't see the point selling wfp to the customers stating the safety side of it then go climbing a ladder to clean their gutters ???

Using this lance would cut the time working down.

When i got my lance i used it on my own home and i got a bit carried away with it.
I Cleaned all my guttering inside and out, plus Fascias, then washed all the walls down (Not because of the mess from the gutter) then cleaned the windows (wfp).
It took me just over 1.5 hours.

I'm not having a dig Stuart as it looks like you did a good job.
