hi,i have been looking through this site and lots of people are looking at oven cleaning as a new venture or as an added service.they are also asking about equiptment for the job.this is not a job you can just dip into.the cleans take 2-3 hours.its dirty and hard work.more so in the summer.but i love it!as most know franchises are expensive & other oven cleaning co other training packages at less than franchises prices,but you cant get a feel for the job unless you pay for the whole thing.i would like to help.for £95.00 people can spend a day with me observing the process of oven cleaning.you get to meet the customer,see the cleaning process,see what state people manage to get there ovens into and have a chance to clean yourself to get a feel for it so you can see if its for you or not.many have paid thousands to start this service only to find out they dont like it and end up selling on ebay.remember this is only to observe,i dont sell tanks or chemicals but will give you names of people who do if you like the day with me.visit www.kleenercooker.co.uk leave a message.thankyou.keith bushnell

The thing is if he can't phrase, punctuate or use capital letters properly I kind of loose faith in the idea of receiving training from him.

Also, although some people give their time for free, does not mean everybody should, time, after all, is money. He is offering his knowledge and his time for which he has put a price tag on it.

I say well done, true entrepreneurial spirit.

What you have to say must be worth the money.

hi everybody.excuse my english.i am dyslexic.but i have many satisified customers from my oven cleans.good luck if you can find free training.i am based in basingstoke hants if people are interested.good luck to everyone trying to break into this area of cleaning.

Well I took Keith up on the offer and went out with him for the day.
What can I say I have only praise for Keith, We had 2 jobs booked in that day. Keith took me through the whole process of oven cleaning, he spent time with me and went through everything with me in detail and answerd all my questions, From stripping down cookers, removing fans, removing and dismateling doors, to what I can and cant put in the tank. I have to add i was very impressed with his results his attention to detail was spot on!

I have come away from the day with a wealth of knowledge and I know if in the future if i come across any problems I can give Keith a ring and he will talk me through it.

I feel this was £95 well spent.

Can a just say to the people that commented on mr bushalls grammer and use of the english language. Firstly an old well known saying 'if you havnt got anything nice to say dont say anything at all' secondly he has now proved he is excelent at what he does after the post by atlantic cleaning. I am just so dissapointed to see the negetive tlak going on come on guys we are supposed to be on here to help eachother not try an dknock one anothers ambitions. Keith good bloody luck mate an di might take you up on your offer just to see what iven cleaning is like.

i agree with Ray, good on ya Keith for offering to share your invaluable experience with any of us who would wish to venture into oven cleaning. I must admit I have often had people ask me if I would be prepared to undertake this as part of a domestic clean, but I am always loath to say yes as I know its not a simple 5 min job, and I always suggest they go to a professional oven cleaning company

What I cannot understand is why nearly all you oven cleaning companies are willing to saturate your own market by teaching everyone for the sake of a quick buck.
The industry will end up like carpet cleaning filling 20 pages of yellow pages and no one making any money.
I know this will attract critisism but if you stop and think about it i am correct in what I say.
As well as other business interests I also own an oven cleaning company and cannot see the sense in it.
I would reckon the only reason is not making enough doing the ovens so need to resort to this.

Hi,thanks for your take on my business.I just like to say that it will take years to saturate this market.Divide the 20 million+ ovens in the u.k by the amount of oven cleaning companys and its a really under serviced industry.Its supply on demand & im in demand as in my home town i am the only oven cleaner.The training side i provide is for those thinking about oven cleaning.Not everybody will go onto this as i am sure the people contacting me already own carpet cleaning/window cleaning business etc  and oven cleaning might not fit in with there other interests,due to the extra equiptment reqd or the time it takes to clean an oven.I provide a try before you buy service.This isnt about making a quick buck if it was i would charge more money.Its about helping people like your self, who i understand has other businesses.did you pay for training?I also beleive that for every new oven cleaning business starting theres one selling.

Yes i did send my staff for training on oven cleaning with a guy who done out of kindness not to make money.There are lots of people on this forum  carpet cleaners etc who offer to let newbies go out with them for training,but not for financial gain.Thats the point i was trying to make,and that this forum should not be used for touting for business, offering help is different.

pls allow me to ask, who around and about in the manchester area would be kind enuf to show newbies how to clean ovens. i really would love to find out more on the practical side.
