Hi Brett,
Well just done a quick search for you and came up with the following.

http://www.uk-expo.com/bnb/birmingham.htm

I would say though if you are all joining up in the evening for a drink find out where you will be going and get a hotel or B&B near there rather than the NEC.
Central Birmingham is only a 5 min train journey and the train takes you straight into the NEC and you can get a one day centro card which costs about £5 and you can use it on the train/metro and bus all day long so a lot cheaper and easier than trying to park round the NEC and means you can drink to your hearts content.
Quality tools come with a quality service !

Tosh,
As this topic is about hotels at the NEC, are we going to get off our butts and book one? ;)
Which day are we going to go on??
Do you have a preferance??

Ian,

havent you seriously booked one yet, most of them are booked up.  The Hilton wants 174 pounds room only cheapest rate but thats in the grounds of the nec
The nearest hotels are between 1 and 2 miles away from the center and rooms are going fast

Are you getting a twin room with tosh ;) ;D

let us know if you get booked

The Hilton can go hang! :o
And yeah, we're leaving it a bit late I know!
And if there are any travelodges out there then a twin room is fine...no way do I want a double room :o.....I was never confused! ;D

Ian , why not try the Hotel Campanile, 01527-510710 its just off junction 3 of the M42 and you can be at the NEC in 10 minutes from there and not a bad rate either.

Cheers Ron,

Ian, Darling, have you made a booking yet?  What about this place?  It's cheap, just like me.

Do you want me to book it; or try too?

Oh, I'm having problems getting size 16 stockings, but I've got some getting delivered tomorrow.
