Gaz where do u get these from a fishing shop???
I reckon i could make turn parts for these so they could snap together, Just like the hose lock connectors.

I cant figure which size of pole you guys bought? was it 12m, 13m, 14.5m or 16m and when you remove the top 3 sections how much length do you loose?

Well its one of those how high do you want to go questions?
If domestic a 13 metre loses say 3m (the whippy bit) that will give you about 10 metres very approx depending on the make.
