Carbon fishing poles

Is gardiners the only place that sells modified poles? I would like to diy but scared of botching....

There`s nothing to it,all you need to do is fit the thread in the end of the 4th section that`s all,

does the thread go in or out of the no 4 section? I have the same type gooseneck as in the photo. Is the end (thinnest section no1?)

The first 3 sections are the very thin whippy sections they are way too thin,
the 4th section is perfect to fit the threaded insert,it will need to be secured with either strong glue or tape,

Thanks. So it doesnt need reinforcing? And can you drill a hole to allow the hose to fun inside the pole?

No don`t put the hose inside just keep it outside because the pole has to be built up they are not telescopic,

That particular should have been  £299 it was a 16m pole but the fishing tackle shop kept the 3 whip sections  and let me have it for £200  ;D
that little red and white 9" brush weights about 8 oz,

200 is pretty good ... can longer gooseneck be fitted . also how hi is the pole working height

So you can just buy say  4, 5, 6,  sections of pole seperately rather than the whole pole? or however many you need?

8oz is light,and yes a longer goosneck can be fitted,
it is better to buy the complete pole it works out cheaper,

The pole measures just over 42ft when fully built,so add a gooseneck depending on which one and then brush and also working height will depend on your height,
so i recon on average it will be capable of 50ft easy,
