Washing tiles?
«

Was watching Britains filthiest homes last night. Some cleaning expert was on showing students how to clean.
When it came to the wall tiles she explained that you clean from the bottom up and rinse from the top down.
I have not cleaned many wall tiles but my procedure is to wash from the top down and rinse from the top down.
I am not doubting this lady but am interested in why you clean this way.

Hi
Yes you should defo wash any wall from the bottom up - made the mistake of doing one once from the top (and yes only happened once!)
Cleanmac is correct - less chance of streaks. If you start from the top the water will run down the wall, any chemical that is used will sit on the surface and if it is porous it will penetrate and leave permanent marks.
