Varistream2 V Ecoflow
« on: January 30, 2007, 08:00:54 pm »
I have placed an order for another varistream and another 100psi sureflow pump with Cleantech
and was called today by Cleantech because the Vari2 was out of stock and due in probably Monday and did I want to wait for it or did I want one of the Ecoflow's

Now I'm not in any great hurry for it so I thought I'd wait for the Vari2 to come in as thats what I already use and am very happy with it ' they are infact doing the same job and at around the same price so not much to choose between them really

So to my Q. which do you prefer Vari2 or Ecoflow

What's the difference between a Varistream Mk1 and 2? And when did the Mk 2 hit the market?
It's a game of three halves!

Hi Chris, my sugarbeet!

I use the vari2 and have for nearly 18months now.  It has served me well with a 75psi surflo pump.  I haven't had a day short yet.  But I do only run 1 hose off it.  For a year I ran a huge 100metres of half inch hose from it no probs.  Now I am converting to minibore, not microbore.  Minibore 8mm dia.  I have turned the inside notch on the vari2 up a couple of notches.  All ok.

I have to admit, I think the minibore 100m hose is putting a bit of a strain on my 75psi pump, maybe even battery, but I'm charging up to keep on top for now.

maybe that will give you a bit of info?

The Vari 2.5 is better because the switch doesn't stick at times and is easier to alter the dial.
Losing a customer is like waiting for the next bus, another one will come along shortly!

EasyClean thanks

I have received the Varistream 2 (updated version) today from Cleantech and WOW what an improvement new dial thats easy to handle .. brill, and had to open it up to adjust the blue dial and the circut board now it held into the case by 2 designated screw points and not by the switch shaft so it cant swivel round anymore.

Well done Williamsons , I'm glad I waited for them to come into stock ... almost makes me want to change the old one for a new one Because the button keeps sticking
