you dont need to go to all that trouble just fit one of these infront of your reel fix it solid you can pull hose through it in any direction from 80 meters.  i've one in my van been there two years took 5 mins fit. i would show you mine  ;) but i've got flu and am not going out. :(
I had one of them fixed to my back doors but with microbore you can pull it exactly the same round the doors no probs

007 or what

What about mounting one of those hoselock wall mounts to the back of the trailer
the ones with the  rollers in,
this would let the hoses be pulled from either way
just a thought!! ???

Back Now lol

I have enough room in the back of the trailer for a 250 ltr tank, 100m hose and reel, and battery with my pump box, there is no room, even to put my backpack, I have to stick that in the car, so with the swivel  it can be strapped to the top of the tank or sit it on the floor.

I did look at those hose lock things, but there would be no perminent place to install it, and would have been a lot easier.
