Not that tiny, that thing holds 440 litres with an option of a 960 litre. The name Vortex actually comes from the waste tank. Being circular it creates a vortex which increases the airflow and seperates the solids from the waste water.

and it'll only cost you $79k (about £43k) which for what you get is a bargain.

but would you clean any better than with a machine costing half as much,

Mike, I dont know if it would clean any better than one half the size but one half the size cant have up to 8 or 10 wands on the end of it. From what I have seen of these in the states they are mostly used for cleaning of American or cissy football stadiums. With an auto pump out as well and of course a direct feed the "field" is cleaned in just a few hours. They also if needs be can high pressure the seats and anyhard surrounding floors. I will try and find the picture of the machine but there is one in San Diego that can have 30 wands going at the same time. During the pre-olympic clean up in Los Angeles you could see these machine going almost every day. Best, Dave.

An idea, put a dip tank and a hiab on the back. Then when you have a suite to clean simply pick it up, a quick dip then vac off, job done.............sofa cleaning in 10 minutes ;)

dave it might run 4 wands but i doubt it handle 8 ;)  ( the official website states its a 3 wand machine)

but I bet those 3 wands could be used at 600+ ft

the Vortex website has some nice marketing ideas

Chris! Vortex is a Blueline company. Alltec are sole distributors for them so I suspect Woodbridge won't sell them. Even with my 50hp truckmount I think these are overkill for us.

i do like the idea of solution hose being one 150ft lengh with perment feed through reel, just wind off what you need! no connecting up little lenghs.

I bet someone out there thinks that their portable mounted in the van with a heat exchanger is every bit as good  ;D
