Check your insurance if you have not already had the screen replaced, most will replace it for 50 quid and it wont matter on your no claims bonus, wont help with the tyres but they might be cheaper than your excess.

If You are sure it was them. it would do no harm to inform their customers of what took place. I wouldn't have anyone doing anything for me if they behave like that.
God forbid, if any of their customers missed a payment.
People that behave like this have no respect for the law. I would try and find out more about them. Do they have criminal records for violance, or anything else for that matter that would make them undesirable to their customers? If they are capable of this, then a bit of thieving wouldn't be beyond them would it.
We shiners have plenty of time to think when we are on autopilot. I'm sure you will find some subtle way of repaying them.
Tell your customer that you have been informed that a couple of guys with burglary
convictions are working the area. Give a vague description of them and their car.
The bush telegraph will do the rest. Dai

It might do a lot of harm. Look at what they done for just doing a house on what they considered their patch.

Thanks Guy's

I really don't need the work, My work is on a six week basis and I am fully booked, but When I change to wfp I will be looking for more work, And guess were I am going to look  ;D

I wont be bullied away from a loyal customer, she also got me extra work, at her old house, even the people who bought her old house, want me to continue, and no doubt more work from her new area will be forth coming, this is how loyal she has been to me, so I owe it to her to continue with her windows.

If the nasty window cleaners you dislike work traditionally then may I suggest you find a blind man to walk into their ladders whilst they're up them!!! Only joking!!!! But I know how you feel as I was bullied into walking away from a new area once by a huge brick poophouse of a Dole boy and all his mates trying to harass me. One on one I could handle it as I'm a martial arts expert, but not 5 onto 1. My common sense told me to walk away. You have more to lose than these idiots, so my advice to you is to try and forget it unless you want to keep looking over your shoulder for the next couple of years and make yourself ill with worry, resentment and anger as it will eat away at you more than the cost of the damage is worth!!! Stay on the right side of the law and live a happy and prosperous life!!!!
Losing a customer is like waiting for the next bus, another one will come along shortly!

T*****S absolute   F****ING   W***ERS. If you're the prats that did this and you use this forum then you are the scum of the Earth...We don't live in the dark ages anymore....Why don't you go back to working on the fairground and claiming your dole !!!!

You know what I would do...nothing...for about 6 months, don't want to be too obvious. Then find out their phone number, easy enough to do sure you could find it from someone...then ring them every night ( buy a sim card from Ebay, not traceable) for a couple of weeks at 2am. Ok so you gotta get up to ring them but it will make you feel better..

The other option is to find out where they work and write to the tax office saying that you believe they are not declaring all their work for tax purposes and give the tax people some addresses to chase up... Gotta fight fire with fire....

Police are worse than useless in these situations - and they wonder why no one wants to stick their neck out to help them! When it's all fixed have you got to park on the street, Jeff?

The CCTV idea is a good one. And perhaps ask your neighbours to report anything suspicious to you.

I beleive the Police actually do something if "a firearm is involved" in any threats that are made against you. (If you catch my drift)
It's a game of three halves!

I agree 100%.

Jeff,

If you find out who these guys's telephone numbers are, please e-mail it to me.

I promise to drive them insane.

I love a good wind-up.

Thanks for all the tremendous support you guy's have given me today, it has really helped to lift my spirits, but like Dave said a dish is best served cold and the colder the better.

I went around to see the customer concerned tonight and she was devestated, she even offered to pay for the screen and my tyres :'(  I was nearly in tears with her, and declined her offer, (I told you she was a Gem.)

I will keep you Guy's informed on this one, as my own Investigations are still on going, but can't say much yet :-X ;) as soon as I have phone number I will pass it to Tosh for his enjoyment ;D

CCTV will be fitted by the weekend as I have to park on the road, I was told the local county council may have garages to rent, so will contact them tomorrow.

Once again Guy's thanks for your support.

Regards to you all  :)

Just forget it and add it to the list of life's problems that have been happening since day one when we were born.

I think sometimes by concentrating on the bad that is done to us we attract more. It's a subtle thing. Something subtle in the mind.

I've had the odd thing hapen similar over the years but it's easieast to just forget and ignore and carry on.

I know there is the feeling of insult and the cost but........ these things are a part of life. They happen.

Cheers

really sorry to hear about your car Jeff, honestly, do these losers not realise how hard people work to pay bills, keep a car etc??

As you cannot prove i was them its left you in a bad place - you know very little about them - they know where you live, I'd be more inclined to try and move on, put it behind you.

However I certainly wouldn't stop doing you customers windows, if they see you there again then they will know they haven't put you off.  If they say something to you again then you know you have got the upper hand - it will have cheesed them off and made them realise that their bully boy tactics won't work with you - failing that be prepared to give someone a good knuckle sandwich.
Live life in the fast lane.......if you break down you'll freewheel further

Don't you guy's find this Suspicious?
I had a knock on my front door this afternoon and the boss answered it,  I heared her call me out,
went to the door, and this guy asked me if I was still cleaning windows, If I wasn't would I like to sell my round

Mmmm! a bit Suspicious don't you think?
Took his registration number and handed it to the police.
