We only charged the little old lady £20 :o cos she has had a hard time latley. so we felt sorry for her. Normaly we would charge £40.

Only took 45mins to clean using wfp and a bit of elbow grease.

Nice job!

Do you use just pure water or do you dip your brush in GG4/Fairy/whatever first?
It's a game of three halves!

Good enough result, but 45 minutes? :o

It would take half that to do it by hand. At the most...! :-\

£10 job.

Squeaks,

You wouldn't bring it up as good as that + all the white plastic bits in 20 / 25 minutes doing it by hand. Even though you would say you could.  :-*

I'll tell you now mate, I did one last week bigger than that and just as green.
Took about 20 minutes.
Absolutely mint finish. ;)

Quickly splash roof with washer all over, 2 or 3 mins.
Clean frames and windows below, 6 or 7 mins roughly.
Scrub (now soft) green stuff with washer on a pole, 5 mins.
Hose off, 3 or 4 mins.

Job done. 20 minutes max.  :-*
If you can't do it in those times you're doing it wrong.
That's not rushing.

Macc, don't tell me you'd need longer than that too. ;D

I've always thought you were one of the pros...

I reckon a washer on the end of a pole and a hose can be as quick as wfp if not quicker, especially using soap to break down the dirt quickly.

Think how you wash your car or wash the pots , you use a cloth and rinse on both, I would use a wfp but did plenty by hand when i was trad.

It looks like one of them jobs where you could get 95% of the dirt off in the first 15 minutes , but the quality is in the detail which takes the longest.

Some people would stop after 95% and think it was clean , the true proffesional would carry on for another 20 mins to make sure it was 100% clean.

Remember one persons "clean" is another persons "dirty", so you cant really compare times.
