I'd like to try the Ionics brush head but I have concerns about it not lasting, the vikans I use have lasted over a year and still going strong

I've just ditched my ionics heads and gone back to Vikan, the jets are rubbish, not as much coverage as the vikan either...my personal opinion is stick with vikan.

I was only thinking of it cause a lot of people keep raving about them ... curious really.. I think i'm quite happy to stick with the vikan they scrub well corner well and i fit fan spray nozzles so get good rinse coverage

i personally think the ionics is a good brush head but it definately doesnt last very long before it starts fraying.

At £15 each fellas I couldnt care if they lasted a month or two! Ionics dont mess about, top quality equipment purpose built for the job its meant to be used for, they dont sell dodgy broom heads or car washing brushes.

You can get at least 6-8 months out of there brushes, and you dont need them just to rinse brush on at height, I rinse brush on 99% of the time wether its a mini-pole or 60ft the way your surrposed to use wfp.

Just took delivery of a new pole, quick lock I believe. A very nice little pole aswell. anyone heard of them before?

they originally used viagra for heart conditions until they realised everyone was horny and walking round with a woody. some things work well for other purposes

i've only used the smaller ionic brush heads so can't comment on the larger ones but i don't care if ionic are a proffessional looking company all there doing is marketing themselves well, there products are no different to what else you can buy on the market they just look quite slick and you pay the price for that.

I have given thier brush heads a couple of good runs now and after 1 month of using them i have strands falling out the brush head, bristles have totally lost thier shape, jets get no pressure and the brush heads are to small but apart from that i love them. ;D I've attempted to give them a good go but i simply find the vikan head much better

wrong

the company who made some of the brodex sections was bought over by exel but they are different poles.

The new poles aren't exel either.

As for the brushes fitting, nearly every pole on the market uses a german d-plug on the top to thread an angle adapter on to.

Brodex used to sell Exel pole until about 14 months ago when they switched to a new manufacturer, hence the new range.

stu@skypole - I just re-read what I said and it does sound a bit rude - I didn't mean it that way - hope you didn't take offence   :'(

Hi Jon,

Why not just pick up the phone and get the answer straight from the horses mouth. I'm sure someone at Ionics would be able to tell you which poles their brushes fit onto.
