What a sad git he is,
I think reading posts on this and other WC forums most of us would sooner get on with each other,

if the slap head came up to you in a more friendly manner perhaps in the future work could have passed between you, not a chance of that now with his attitude.

Down my end, we have a monthly meeting in the pub there is six of us who get togehter and discuse customers, we swap names and addresses of bad customers and we even pass work onto one another.

So much nicer to get on with the guy's instead of throwing you're dummy out of your pram over a cheap bucket.

I'm glad you posted this because I was wondering what his religious beliefs had to do with this incident.
I once turned up to clean a house at the same time as another window cleaner.  He hadn't been around for several months so the owner asked me to start cleaning them.  As it was late in the day I agreed to come back the next day.  I was just putting my ladder up when this other window cleaner comes around the corner.  It wasn't a problem.  I just told him he was welcome to keep the job if he wanted and I would tell the owner that he was working again.  However, he wasn't bothered either so I ended up doing it.  We just had a good laugh about it really.  We both had more work than we could handle comfortably so it wasn't like anyone was taking money from the other.

I left my bucket at a customers, couldn't remember where and splashed out on a new bucket - oh, the pain of a fiver! - next month it's still sitting where I left it at a commercial customers on their outside air-con unit.

Well, lucky me! I've got two buckets now! If your mate wants one he can have mine!
