looking in to it myself... going to get some polo shirts sweaters and some water proofs done, the polo's are about 12-14 pounds but that is embroided but generally you are looking about 3-5 pounds on top of the garment for printing or embroidery i am using a company called dezigned4u tosh posted their number here earlier this week

I have allways used Alexandra work wear there products are very hard wearing.

Plus some times they do free embroidery, pluss I get the same trouser's etc that I have had for the last 15yrs.

a bit of advice ....  I know you said you want them cheap, but after a few months of washing them, they will look cheap to. You really need to make sure you INVEST in some good quality polo shirts, as they will be worth it in the long run

We use this company and they're great (they're close to where Leekson's lives):

Dezigned4U embroidery and printing Services

Phone 01291 423724, e-mail info@dezigned4u.com

We get polo shirts looking like this for 7.50 and the same design on a quality fleece for 17 quid each:

They post and I believe sell on e-bay.  Great service and nice bloke too.  They don't have a minimum order either, and seem quite happy to do small orders.

The owner's ethos is to look after the smaller customers, so they'll keep on returning; as we do.

Tosh -

I'm looking to get one wear and one wash out of a top per week, so five per person.  How long do they last before starting to show their age - say fifty washes = one year. Does the rubbery print stuff start to peel, or just fade?

Are you sure that's the right address? They don't seem to do polo tops.

Wavie,

Wor Lass washes my kit every day and the lettering looks just as good as it did when we ordered it.

However, my polo shirts have faded a bit over the past year, but the lettering is top notch, which is why I ordered some fleeces from them.

I reckon I'll get another Summer out of the polo shirts.

They sell good kit.

Wavie russells in glasgow on the waterfront do them

£30 for artwork then £2 per embroidery, they use jerzee which are very good as they  last for ages, my cousin who got them 3 years ago is still wearing his and recommends them, the site above does jerzee and fruit of the loom -- better going for the jerzees
