what you are looking for is 5/6mm clear tubing.

Can anyone tell me why that tubing is so hard to get ya hands on when it's such a fundamental piece of equipment?  ???

its readily available at most motor factor stores etc but you'll be hard pushed to get it at a better price than above.

really? thought was was quite steep. Oh well, mines over a year old so could do with a new bit myself. Problem i get with hose is when i buy off net it's nearly always wrong inside diameter but i guess 6mm ID has to be the one ain't it? ::)

Microbore is something i mistakenly ordered thinkin it was the tubing mentioned above. A bit like that yellow garden hose that most people have only thinner outside diameter and "I think" about a 6mm Inside diameter(same ID as the hose tubing) Hope this helps. I learnt the hard way lol.

not dodging q's gazzasp8 - I just don't live on the computer!!!hahaha

Microbore is a vague word -  pole tubing is still microbore, in fact you could argue that any tubing is microbore.  What defines Microbore?
