It is working extremely well for us. I don't think working as a Partnership particularly helps anything. The main reason for Partnerships (unless it's a 'sleeping' partner) is that it normally ties in with a Partnership agreement - not sure you'd want that as husband and wife?

We are just separately self employed and it seems to work absolutely fine.

Customers do like seeing a lady about - it definitely leads to more customers!

go for it :)

Just thought I'd resurrect this for two reasons - all these folk who never post anymore and are there any husband wife partnerships and how are they going?

So, in answer to your resurrected question - We formed a proper partnership and it has indeed been the best way to go for us.

Although I do look in on you all I hardly ever post anymore because I find with so many posting these days the topics go off in a hundred different directions, it makes it hard to help those genuinely asking, and not much new to learn from either.  I don't go on the "chat" section anymore, I'm too busy, waste of valuable time.

I have around 40 shops done weekly, some twice weekly, all require an invoice. My better half sorts all this out, delivers the invoices and then collects all the cash on Saturday mornings from 9.am onwards while I finish the round. Any late payers and she kicks up a real fuss which is great. She has a job of her own weekdays so residential is all down to me.
