End Of Tenancy
« on: September 22, 2006, 02:50:23 pm »
Hi everbody I havent been on here for a while, just wondered if anybody can help,we provide domestic cleaning and have been asked to provide a quote for end of tenancy cleaning, for a large estate agent. We do end of tenancy as one ofs,but this will be on a commercial basis with 4/5 a week cleans.I am finding it difficult to quote,as every place varies, they have asked for details of what they call light medium and heavy cleans. Is anybody experienced in this area, who could advise the best way to quote, and how you break it down ect.I would really appreciate any help or guidance thankyou..

Be careful on this one, bluesky1
In effect I think the agent, is trying to get you on the cheap, no two properties are alike, even if they are the same size/area. imagine you have quoted a flat pricefor let's say a three bed semi, £250, property 1, fair condition, semi - maintained, no rubbish, result a profit. property 2, Poor condition, not maintained, middle amount of rubbish, £250????

The agent knows when he needs property cleaned, let him supply you with a  weekly list, go round each property and fax him the price of each individual property.

Bob

I'd have to agree with Bob on this one.

Also if there promising you 4/5 properties a week i personally think there trying to get you on a cheap price with an empty promise.

There's no letting agent that i know of that only use one contractor.

To make any sort of money in EOT cleans, you'll have to price each property individually.

Hi

For each property you need a work order for what needs doing.

There may be 4-5 a week, more than their other contractor can handle, I have this with one of mine.

Did a property yesterday, took 10 hours with carpets, £320
