I would like your comments on whether or not you work outside in wet weather, i hear some guys clean in the rain, does this affect the clean or not? has anyone found that customers dont like it? your replies and comments will be invaluable!

I recently received a cheque in the post from a customer.  Attached to the cheque was a "Post It Note" with the following:-

"Thanks Steve, of course it rained before I got home, but still great!"

It had actually rained for most of the time that I was cleaning!

We clean in light rain and have also cleaned in a few periods of heavy rain.

There were some initial concerns from some customers but once they'd seen the results .......

Hi fishman.

Explain to a customer you have bills to pay so if you can work you do. Your customers will get used to it so carry on, i do.

They wont you regular & reliable so they cant have it both ways.

I don't think many of my customers would be too pleased about me doing their windows in the rain. Its one of the big problems when you have a round that is fairly full because you can't just re-schedule.
A lot of my customers need to be phoned in advance to let them know I am coming.
