« on: September 16, 2006, 09:16:49 am »
hi all
i have 100 mtrs of micro bore on my reel  and my mate has 60 mtrs on his
we did a test last night to see how much water we use in ;) one min
we both have the same set up, and all set to the same settings on all the controls   when we tested it he was using 2 ltrs a min and i was 1 ltr a min   dose having 40 mtrs of micro more than him make a difference to the water useage    we did this as his fan jets seem to be a lot better than mine
do i need to turn my v flow up a bit  my v flow is set at a   10 o clock  and on the in side it is on G    how much water do you use a min and dose 250ltrs last you a day as this is the size of take i have ;)

Every meter of tube will cause a pressure drop. It takes more energy to push the water through a longer tube, there is more resistance. Ignore the settings and adjust accoriding what flow comes out of the end. BUT remember when you have your brush 60 foot up in the air this will also resist the water flow as you have to push the water against gravity, so what was 1 lpm on the ground will not be 1 lpm up in the air.
