NOT A BAD DAY REALLY
« on: September 04, 2006, 06:27:09 pm »
hi there

well its monday, and it was going to be a borong paperwork day,

but as luck has it, i got a call from a large customer of mine, and a HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

got a call last friday could i drive 150 miles to clean a communal stairwell, after a fire in a flat.  NO i cant not on a friday!!

So today they were back on the phone, the chap they called in to do it, DIDNT DO IT VERY WELL

so i'm off in the morning to resue the situation, and then to look at the apartment itself, submit a quote to refurbish the apartment to pre loss, and the block owners are looking to authorise the work as soon as we submit the quote.

So thats a nice little job.

who said paper work was boring.

regards

martin

My day so far has been very strange! One of my suppliers called me saying they had made a mistake on one of the prices they had given me for something and I had already quoted my client on the prices!  Then I went to pick up some tshirts and hi vis that I had done at a new place I decided to try and our company name is spelt wrong on all of them!  I then got a phone call from a largish quote I did last week that I thought no more of as I had the feeling it was 'get three quotes in' syndrome as they are moving building, saying - 'did you recieve the signed contract yet?  We have awarded you the contract and the start date is 18/09/06 but we will need a full builders clean next week as well'!

Gosh - I LOVE MY JOB! lol

Hi

Happily driving along to last job of the day when the drive shaft decided to fall apart on the van, taking the gear stick with it!
