I have been asked to quote for a big building windows are on ground, 1st, 2nd, 3rd stories.
How much would you charge for each window on each floor cleaning wfp. They need to be done once every 6 months too!
Any help would be good please guys..... also i need to give him a quote today!

i was thinking 75 for ground, then up by about 50p pr floor extra ... think that will work out fair?

Its is student accom. Every window is easy access,  but like i said, it has 4 floors. Each window is a standard size, roughly 3ft x 3ft.
All i need is a price per winodw, ive counted all the winodws, and howmany at each level:-
103 at ground
96 at 1st
96 at 2nd
55 at 3rd

Personaly I can't & don't price per window.

Just look at the job and guess how long It will take you.

I would charge between £30 and £40 per hour.

Remember you could get It wrong so just add 10% onto the price you give!

only a guide - charge what you like but remember no moving around all day.

My price comes out at £375.75

So just call it £375 for cash 

103 at ground x 0.75 =  £77.25
96 at 1st x 1.00         = £96.00
96 at 2nd x 1.25        = £120.00
55 at 3rd x 1.50         = £82.50

           GRAND TOTAL = £375.75

So you've got prices ranging from £250-£500 so your gonna have to use your judgement.

Although I wouldn't go for a round number, make it an odd one so at least it looks like you havent just picked a figure out of thin air

I would go in at about 350-400 quid, if it is only done once every 6 months then it will have to be a longer than average time to do the windows to a good standard.

you are still going to do it inside a single day comfortably.
Were it done monthly or every 2 months I'd charge £350 for a the first clean, but subsequent cleans will be done by lunchtime, so I would happily drop price for the regular clean to about £275.
But as it is only 6 monthly, stick in a high price for your days work, if you don't get it...big deal, its only 2 day work a year you've lost.

Slightly off topic but.........

Just had a quick look at your website and noticed that you also do fascia & soffit & conservatory roof cleans which im looking to expand into, so a couple of questions if you dont mind

What power pressure washer do you use? In your before & after shots did you need to use any uPVC restorer if so what do you use? And what can you charge i.e per side or per foot (soffit & fascias) small, medium, large, X large (conservatory roof)

its hard to say really, each property is different.
Work it out at about £50 per hour. Its more than window cleaning, but bear in mind you will be using deisel to power the machine, and it isnt cheap, when things go wrong... and they do!
i use a 250bar, 3500spi machine, but i dont know the make sorry
