ionic water fed pole system help needed

ive been offered a water fed pole sytsem its a ionic 5 stage mounted on a trolley cost them 4 grand and its a year old they use it to wash cars and dont now how to back wash and flush so they want to get rid of it they want 1500 but i think i can get them down to 1250 do you think its worth it

Do I read you correctly..they want to get rid of it because they don't know how to backwash & flush! Haven't they heard of phones!

they are not clued up at all and just wanna get rid of it i just wanna now if the price is right

yep ive tested it and all though it aint been used in 3 months its still reading o tds

Hi RVS

You will need to check what the TDS is going into the tank, not coming out the hose end!!!! The reason for this is, the TDS going into the tank could be really high (due to the membranes being fouled) and what is coming out the hose end, could still be zero, but it will deplete your DI bottle (bottom filter) very quickly.

cheers mate gonna check all that on saturday but what i need to now is if all that is satisfactory is the price fair or high

Hi again RVS

The Pro 5 trolly is £4,495 + VAT new = £5,281.62

So if you are getting it for £1,500 thats a bargain mate.
