Client has over watered plants in office and the floor has white residue in places don't know whether its off the stones in the pot or a reaction to the plant food Have tried lime scale remover in a small area but it too just dried white any ideas??

Is it hard floor or Carpet?
Have you done a ph test ?
Looks like just drying residue to me. ( water marks)

Its vinyl judging by the weld? Other than that I cant help you Steve. Unless you try soft or pure water on it. By the way how is the truck mount cleaning coming on.? Best, Dave.

just an idea

nick at solutions had some m/s for cleaning hard floor with water marks
sorrry dont remember name but worked great on a stone floor in a bathroom

Looks to me like something has affected the seal and discoloured it, I would try some stripper on
a small area and then some seal/polish and see if that brings it up, if it works the whole of the
floor will need to be striped and resealed.

Have seen this before in a bathroom, turned out it was the limescale from the water (in my case anyway). Try using some descaler in a corner (phosphoric acid worked well with us)

Hi Steve,

Almost certainly calcium carbonate, limescale, easy to remove with acid, your local cleaning supplies will have some.

Ventilate well and avoid any chlorine based products as the mixture will give off chlorine gas.

Its hard floor, tried kalizido but it still dried white.She later told me the office cleaners had tried cleaning it but not sure what with.She was going to contact the manufacturers to see what they suggest as hard floor is not my area of expertise .

We have lots of limescale on floors down here , it's a consequence of hard water, acid works
