sea grass carpet

just cleaned a resturaunt chef asked me if i could clean , a sea grass carpet
said i would ask on here best way to clean and get back , to him. any body on here any views

Not worth bothering with. You can't wet clean it. At best you can use "dry" granules but even then the results aren't great.

Been there, done that, when you've worked in the granules, you try & get them out of the carpet :o

depends i did sea grass with micro spnges great job the problem being is getting them hoovered out afterwards you need to take off the hoover head and vac only with the open ended hose a right pain but worth it if you charge enough

Cleaned seagrass using the host system results were quite good but the carpet was not that dirty.Was asked to clean a hotel carpet in Darlington seagrass throughout been down three days, restaurant carpet had red wine spills & food spills not a chance fitter had even advised against getting this type of carpet but they still went ahead ::)

Residential home for physically disabled people, architects specified 100% wool carpets for dining room in SKY BLUE.
Cleaned this 4 times in 6 months at a cost of £230 per go. Eventually they bought their own machine.
Lost count of the number of commercial premises with 50% white carpets.

My advice stay away from it if you can. Hwe is out as it will shrink and the result from granules is hardly worth the effort.
