Hello all
Have an old failing tablet with George on

Now got a refurbished windows surface tablet
Managed to download gfix and reset apps
Did download free trial of George and dropped backup file onto reset app

Problem was George opened but come up with an error message saying it didn’t recognise today’s date

All customers were in app ok but couldnt open diary week planner section
Then on shutting program it said free trial version again

Tried loading George app from old tablet onto new one
But couldnt get that to work
Kept saying it didn’t recognise today’s date

Couldn’t workout how to download from the cloud so used other link someone posted under jesters
Which went to the George site
As said downloaded a free trial version
Then deleted it
Now can’t find where the free version is


Help anyone?
Have I got to start paying for cleaner planner 😢?

I've given you access to the latest files as per your request. Once installed, you'll just need to install the back up program and load your last back up from your old tablet.

All you need to do is download those programs from the cloud to your computer before you use them.

It's easy,  uninstall you old failed attempts, then just install the new George install.   Forget the data fix for now, and install the backup/restore program.    You need to make sure you have your latest backup data from your old tablet.  Hopefully you backed those up daily to a cloud or USB stick.

If your latest backup still causes the issue then your data file is corrupt.  That sounds more like the issue if you have the same problem on your old tablet.  So run one of the older backups from a time you know it was working fine.  Mabe go back a week for sale keeping.
