I've got 3 univalves which are sticking. I've tried lubing one up erm... Anyway it's still sticking so must be springs, do the replacement kits on ebay actually work?
I've a brand new one fitted but just for recycling the old ones instead of buying another new one.

I tried fixing some they worked for a bit longer but then gave up again.

Ive stopped using univalves as they dont last long before they start sticking, get to the point when they are just coming on and off when walking. Yes they are good when new but i cant be bothered keep buying them so gone back to a small tap on the brush head. Uses slightly more water perhaps but just as easy to use.

The Rootek kits on ebay are better than OEM. The springs are stainless and last for ages! Haven't bought a new univalve in a long time as I just service them with the ebay kits. 👍

We don’t use univalves but I know the guy that owns Rootek  he has several products that are very good we tested a few things for  him and all work well , he is a window cleaner and designs things to solve problems he has encountered, his customer service  is also very good , all his products are well worth looking at .

IMO they need servicing every now and again with a smear of silicone grease.
