Clarke SPE800 230v BOOSTER PUMP
« on: March 02, 2026, 06:19:58 pm »
My clarke pump finally died after 15 years.  It was the CBM 240e.  They are £400 and I only have another 2 years left WFP so didnt want to spend £400 for 2 years use

Looking for a similar but cheaper pump and saw this one

Although no auto shut off, has anyone else used this or does it look OK for booster pump pre 4040?

Hi.
Om going to jump on your tread if that's okay.
I think that pump is not powerfull enough.
But you can add a controller to shut off when the water stops. You can find it on the website.

I'm bulding my own 4040 ro system at the moment and I'm at the stage where Im looking for a booster pump and came across this one :

https://ro-man.com/product/multi-stage-large-reverse-osmosis-pump/

The option I'm looking ay is the one with solenoid and float valve as I what to shut off when the tank .
Does anyone any experience with these pumps?
I know Ro Man are quite reputable but wanted to see if anyone has this pump.

Hi.
Sorry to step on your tread.
I think that pump isn't powerful enough.
You can add a controller though , you can find it on the same website.

I'm in the middle of building my own 4040ro system and cane across this booster pump.

I'm interested in the option with solenoid and float valve as I'd like the pump to stop when the tank in full.

Does anyone have any experience with this pump?

Thanks
