Electric reel raised or fixed to van floor?
« on: Yesterday at 10:55:09 am »
I'm wondering how many of you have got your power up reels fixed on a raised shelf or fixed to the van floor. I can see the benefit of having it raised.

I have both mine on a shelf which is 200mm higher than the van's floor. I have had them on the van's floor and also twin stacked. In the end I have chosen 2 reels next to each other and up 200mm from the van's floor because it works for me after trying the rest.

All reels are raised I found having it on the floor made it awkward to operate

Yes I agree that having it raised would be much better plus as I'm also  I'm 6ft 3 will save a lot of unnecessary bending.
Thanks for your input.

Ive had them raised and on the floor. With a manual reel its more important with bending or reaching too high but with an electric reel it makes no difference at all.
