Electric hose reel
« on: Yesterday at 05:57:09 pm »
I’d like some more information about this please. Have some of you got one, where can you buy them and are they any good ?
Does the hose get snagged on things that my 8mm does, I’ve had a lot of hassle this week with my temper going  very  quickly.
I’ve had kinks in the pole hose the main hose getting stuck on buildings, sticks a kink in the hose , but I always unwind the reel , but it just gets snags  and  water  stops. I know they cost from about £600  +vat.
How are they wired up ? I have a battery charging  from the van so it doesn’t need charging , although a couple of days recently the pump controller has been reading L , so I think a more powerful battery  will be needed too.
Would like to hear your thoughts about this , many thanks .
Cheers Rich

I've never had a manual reel, and I can't get my head round it when I see people using them, when there's an alternative out there where you just push a button and it winds up itself.

The jobs poope as it is, if somethings put there that makes it a wee bit less poope, then it's a no brainer.
