I go out one day, full of beans, weather is good, bash out £350, happy with that.
Next day I might go out, it's grey, drizzly, I really can't be bothered and hit £200 and pack it in.
Don't worry about what anyone else is earning, earn what you need to maintain your lifestyle.
I have slowly learned to appreciate this job, not so much the cleaning of windows itself which is mind numbingly boring, but the flexibility and ability to earn a decent wage whilst being an absolute lazy sod when I want and working hard when it's in me.

The point of my post was simply to see where I am in comparison to others in the current time.

As things have continued to get more and more expensive over the last few years I wandered if prices have risen in conjunction.

So it seems I am about on par on here at least, I’m content with that.

Haven’t done a price rise since April 2023 and I doubt customers won’t mind too much if I do, have been getting asked lately by the odd customer if the price is still the same?

And been met with mild surprise.

the majority of my work is £45 an hour on my own.....thats my everyday casual working speed . I can increase this and just speed up when i need to.  but I do add on jobs to boost my income , and put some variation into my week.
for example
render cleans much higher hourly rate
gutter emptying.. I have 20 of these between now and christmas

I think prices vary with locatiion..... I am in south wales . ... i live in a 4 bed detatched with a drive  and a seperate garage .  a conservatory with a proper roof . my property is around £320 k
in some parts of the country £320k couldnt buy a shoe box
