How much water do illegal immigrants and immigrants drink over a 12 month period? maybe if we get rid of them we'd save a fair bit of water there  ???

Jesus wept. What a tragic, pitiful post. Honestly, mate, go and sit down and have a think about what you've just done.

I was sitting here hoping that this post was tongue in cheek .........but i dont think it was :'(

Im against mass migration ...........but not because of drinking water .

All the ones who turn there nose up at trad guys thinking there beneaf them, always shouting about how unsafe ladders are.

Will be telling everyone in 2 weeks, if used safe, ladders are absolutely no risk at all and fine.

They are also enjoying doing them trad as it's good to get a change from the repetitive pole work all day.

As soon as the bans lifted, itl be back to trad guys are scum who you wouldn't p on if they were on fire haha

What's wrong with being an immigrant?

He said "illegal immigrants and immigrants".

Apropos of nothing, I went to the eye casualty a couple of weeks ago with a possible torn retina (I've had one before so it's important). Receptionist English. But after that, the triage nurse was Filipino. As was the nurse she passed me on to for further assessment. Then I was moved to an Indian specialist who photographed and scanned my retina and I was finally seen by an Egyptian consultant. All immigrants. All drinking our water, the inconsiderate freeloaders. Send 'em home, I say.

We could put the £8 million quid a week we spend on housing ilegal migrants into the water infrastructure.

I’d rather our tax money go on that than be the only country to pay for ilegal migrants to live in 4 star hotels.

The lefty loons among us should give up there spare rooms and house them, if they so desire to see this nation bring in countless ilegal migrants whom we have no idea of their history.

This country has well untruly lost the plot!

It now costs the equivalent of of a city the size of Manchester’s tax for a year. Over half a million hard working Brit’s tax goes solely on ilegal migrants and housing them. And… it’s only getting worse.

You do all realise that, factually, asylum seekers are not "illegal" don't you? Calling them that is blindly repeating propaganda that's being spoon-fed to you. If you're happy to be told what to say, carry on, but be aware that it's a lie you're repeating and the people feeding you are laughing at you.

Sorry, Simon, sarcasm doesn't always come across. It just felt like a bit of an open goal given the insanity of the "send 'em home" crowd on here.

And I could have said the same about the people who serve me coffee, work at Tesco, bake at the local bakery, wash my car, clean the toilets in the pub, drive the bus and serve at McDonalds and KFC. Not to mention the people who run the superb Indian and the Thai restaurant around the corner. Or the Turks who run the best food shop in Southampton. But I thought the NHS might have meant something even to the propaganda swallowers.

Life without immigrants in this country would be vastly worse. No matter how much bloody water they drink.

I live in a very right wing area where the Daily Mail prevails as newspaper of choice, and it's quite frightening how easily people are brainwashed. There is a genuine feeling that everything wrong in our country stems from "the boats".  The fact that we're talking about illigal immigration on a thread about possible water use restrictions because of lack of rain is quite mind numbing.

For what it’s worth
I was taken round a  small ex 4  star migrant hotel in Croydon
The resident whom I met several times in a cafe  came to England after having to leave  Syria  as he is  a Freemason a decent man  kind and softly spoken with a family before the war
As a Freemason we share a special connection  he is  my brother
if you know you know

I used to clean the hotel  and The hotel was run down and almost beyond repair  before  the Change of use someone must of thought  Xmas came early !! It should have been demolished years ago
the reception area was missing no pretty receptionist to give you a room key no plants and plush carpets  with piped music
the lift wasn’t working  watching a guy in a wheelchair on hands and knees climbing up the stairs.  Was an eye opener
The room. A superior double with a balcony was home to five people  no mini bar no Hypnos  beds and no curtains
The canteen was in the lounge and the food was dished out like a prison film  on trays   It was tepid and tasteless  I did eat there and won’t be dining there again !
I was warmly welcomed by the staff and other residents unlike the videos you see and they seemed pleased to have someone non adversarial speak to them most had nothing to do except sit around
no ala carte no choice  no after dinner coffee or the chance of a smoke in the lounge
not the 4 star experience the papers and the beer drinking snake oil salesmen would have you believe
I could tell you more but what’s the point you’ll believe what they tell you

Not "illegal" however much you might want to believe it.

And listen to yourselves. You're blaming asylum seekers for water shortages because you've been drip fed lies to make you blame poor, displaced people with little to hope for more than safe place to live.

Seriously, you're blaming a handful of thousand people for the country being short of water. Not the utilities that have failed to build one single reservoir since privatisation, who have handed out billions of pounds in dividends.

Give it some thought. Why do you believe what you believe about asylum seekers? Where did your information about them come from?  And what's in it for the person who is stirring you up against them to the extent that (and I repeat it because it's so bizarre) you're blaming them for water shortages - clue: he wants your votes. Ten years ago would you ever have expected to end up making that argument on a public forum?

I'd best leave it for now.

Never mind your tax money. Your water bill money is literally being  spaffed up the wall by shareholders who provide no real benefit to the Country. I certainley wouldn't give them £8 million quid a week, they should of been made to go bust and have it taken off them if they can't provide the services they are paid and required to.

Its hard to believe that the last resevoir built was in 1992 and the population has increased by 10 million since then. They've done nothing to meet increasing demand.

What some of them try to count as 'investment' is just regular maintainance of old pipes etc that is to be expected, like paying to have your van serviced. But they get away with it.

And raw sewage is increasingly just let to run in our rivers and seas. They do all this in plain sight, and now are charging us even more through the latest bill increases.

What i find amazing is the fact that Liverpool gets its drinking water from North Wales, and Manchester gets its drinking water from the Lake district. Thats been going on for over 100 years! We've plenty of water technology about , and even more advanced now so it should be easier to manage water. But they extract every last £ for themselves.

My god I've never met so many fannies in one place than on this forum, it was a tongue in cheek post, of course I wouldn't begrudge another person drinking water over window cleaning water (well most anyway) . There should be a fanny alert button for some of you lot on here  ;D
