I think I'll just change the pre filters every 4 months just to be on the safe side and hopefully my axeon membrane will last many years...

Do most of you guys use 20" fibredyne filters as I think Spruce recommended them?

I think the fibredyne filters are supposed to last longer, check the spec.

Fibredyne’s can supposedly collapse if using a booster pump according to Gaps Water.
