Removing stale cigarette smoke smell

Any advice on getting rid of cigarette smell from a bungalow, carpets removed , and currently re painting there is no nicotine anywhere but the place stinks .

Make sure you chuck out curtains as well if there are any & then the only way to eliminate the odour is with an ozone generator

Ok thanks what does an ozone generator do ?
