The carpet looks great, we used to use the dry system all the time on commercial
carpet .

Some of the carpets we used to do were in an awful condition but they always
came up great.

hi martin what sponges do you use? i have both the environdri and host . everyone tells me to use host but to be honest i prefer the environdri

I find the envirodri sponge vacuums up better than the host sponge plus its cheaper

Don’t think I’ve every said a crap system, may be questionable on some jobs! That’s why most have a backup/alternative system; eggs in one basket a fool and his money are soon parted (franchise scenario or blinkered vision) the white bits are new gum, what is beneath is beyond me! Perhaps all cleaning systems can go hand in glove, but that down to experience, time and motion

Morning All

I have not done any pubs with the black top problem but would like to know if the Sponges method is the best for cleaning these types of problems.

Not looking for a debate on HWE or Dry but am interested in views as I want to start doing more commercial work and am really interested in the best way forward.

my my Len  that's what i call a challenge any after shots will be very interesting and of course method of cleaning with which chemicals . i am sure most people will be interested in this

This is a pic of our worst pub carpet so far.  The before, really doesnt show how bad the carpet was as it was covered in black top a few mm thick.

We used enzyme prespray (alltech) with about 20 minutes dwell and backbreaking agitation before HWE.

Not a patch on Len's example though

That is some serious Blacktop, would like to see the after pictures when you have done it.

I wasn't actually referring to you as regarding the system. It was Blcktop though, just glad there wasn't much of it.

The LM systems are good (this pub was done previously using such system only down side, run out of pads and how long it took)

System TM agents 1st micro splitters totally us reverted back to the old faithful Multi Pro (now use Blitz’s) dwell time is needed no agitation that only makes the machine dirty more down time in cleaning it!

Very sweet thanks! Not that long compared to the LM, over the entire pub took 8hrs to clean (16 if you include bucket boy) it is big!  Gum was not included in price as you can see after, but I did my best, wish domestics work were that understanding.
