Re-sanding
« on: March 20, 2021, 03:24:10 am »
Hi all,

First time re-sanding and just wanted to make sure I’m doing it right.

Allow block paving to dry. Brush in kiln dried sand with a broom going against the lines not with the lines. Remove excess sand with a leaf blower ensuring sand between joints is not blown out.

I’ve seen a few people on YouTube say they lightly mist the paving afterwards. Necessary or not?

Any problems with sanding if I’ve hypo the paving?

How long should it have to bed before it rains ideally?

Any other tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

Cut out the faff

Dump sand on drive brush in a decent broom (bulldozer is ace and quick) check joints are filled  esp edges and radius areas leave a light covering on the top

Hypo wont effect sand
