Hard floor marketing, just launching this side of my business
« on: February 03, 2021, 02:15:50 pm »
Hi does anyone use adwords strictly for the hard floor side ? Or do they have it in with the carpet and upholstery cleaning side?

No get experience in Hard Floor Cleaning first, gain experience and knowledge then worry about Google adwords etc.  The important thing is to keep both businesses separate.  You only start in Carpets 3 years ago and added Hard Floors just over a year ago.  Keep both Separate

Don't try and separate it to the point you set up a separate website etc for it - bad move

You'll end up having separate domains with same business and contact info and duplicate content - a really bad move for SEO

Add it on your existing business and website as a separate service and do jobs as they come in and you feel comfortable

Go for AdWords then if you need to with your hard floor page as the landing page

Its dinosaur ethics from a modern business world where you need to get high on Google for service driven industries, locally targeted, to say keep it all separate, that's really bad information. And once its done, it can take a long time to build trust and SEO rankings again with Google for either one of the two businesses then

In the days of paper printed ad's like Yellow Pages etc you could get away with it, but things have moved on drastically since then and time to keep up or lose out
